Did you know that sun, sea, and air are fantastic for your life and health?
Mid-19th century philosopher and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote this about living and health:
“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air’s salubrity.”
(Salubrity means good for your health.)
How pertinent his words are today! It is becoming harder in our modern way of living to find wild air. It’s either heated or air conditioned, neither of which is good for us. Also, living in sunshine and swimming the sea seem to be reserved for vacations only.
If you want to read the entire poem, it’s called Merlin’s Song.
Wishing you a simple, natural, loving, and healthy Christmas!
